If you would like to read about my inspiration to make this bed for our dog Oreo, you can HERE.

I didn't have to do a lot of prep on the ottoman itself because it's in good shape. It just needed some cleaning.

I decided to use two beach towels I picked up on sale. I cut the ends off of one and hot glued them to each side of the other towel.

I then fitted it to the ottoman. A dog bed has to be washed every so often, so I decided not to permanently attach it. That way it can be easily removed and thrown in the wash. It has an overlapping top and a rope pulled around it worked just fine. You can't even see it.

I made a body pillow and blanket out of the remaining piece of towel.

My daughter wanted to put Oreo's name on it some how so I decided to give it a head board and we put her name on it.

Waa Laa! Oreo has a new bed and as you can see she loves it.
